Unfortunately, it did not work for me. The 2nd of those has an installer file in it named ncsetup I've used this to install on my personal computer once in an emergency. I tried using it to re-install on my company laptop after installing VirtualBox. It did not seem to make any difference at all. I'll keep this option in my back pocket, and try it again next time I need to go to the office which only happens every 3 or 4 months.

Again, thanks for the assistance. Right-Click on "My Network Places" 2. Select "Properties" This opens the "Network Connections" window. Select the "General" tab. Probably already selected. Uncheck the box next to "VirtualBox Bridged Networking Driver" in the "This connection uses the following items:" box.

Click OK. After this, things should work just fine. Unfortunately, I only found this fix after spending HOURS uninstalling and reinstalling trying to get this to work, and after coming in to work unnecessarily to try and fix it. Hope this helps anyone with a similar problem.

I had put in some concerted effort trying to get this working, and always ran into the DNS issue. Since this would kill my connection to the server that I would be installing it from, that was not an option without going to the office which I try not to do unless necessary.
